FAQ

Parent questions

  • What age does HIT Fitness teach kids' boxing?

Two age groups: ages 6 to 10, and ages 11 to 15. Each class is structured for its age range, so younger kids aren't being trained alongside teens.

  • Does my child need any boxing experience?

No. Both youth classes start from scratch and build fundamentals (stance, footwork, the basic punches) with coaches who keep it age-appropriate and supervised.

  • How much does youth boxing cost in Marietta?

Youth membership is $135 per month with a $59.99 welcome kit. Every new youth membership includes a complimentary set of youth boxing gloves and hand wraps.

  • Is youth boxing safe?

Classes are coach-led, structured, and age-grouped. The youngest age group (6 to 10) focuses on coordination, fundamentals, and listening, not sparring. The older group (11 to 15) builds technique and conditioning under direct supervision.

  • Can my kid try a free class first?

Yes. Claim a free first class on the /free-class page. No card or contract required to claim it. The gym will text back to find a class time that fits your schedule.
